At Nimble Voyager, we promote simple, sustainable, ethical lightweight travel. We look for ways to reduce our impact on the planet while we experience amazing places all over the world. Through how-to articles, informational posts and reviews, we hope to help others travel efficiently and effectively.
Nimble Voyagers are enthusiastic travelers who enjoy the journey as much as the destination. We are curious about the world; we are respectful of the places we visit and the cultures we encounter; and we look for responsible ways to make the world better.
Meet MJ
Hi, I’m MJ from Nimble Voyager. It’s nice to meet you!
I started this site to help others find easier, more enjoyable adventures. For me, it’s about enjoying the journey as much as the destination. And I’m a true believer in lightweight travel.
So, this is where I tell you I’m an expert and give you reasons to trust me. Honestly, I’m not. I can tell you, to date, I’ve visited 26 countries (most with only a backpack), climbed to the top of 17 mountain peaks, hiked the back country of 11 national parks, and snowboarded in both polar hemispheres. But I’m not an expert at anything. I’ve just learned how to travel simply and lightly and I’d like to share that with you.
Have a look at my “conversion story” to see how I became a true believer and a practitioner of lightweight travel. It’s why I started the Nimble Voyager website. For now, I’ll leave you with this: It all started with a grueling hike through Yosemite National Park.
